Molten Chocolate Oozy Cake, By Jen Sommerness

This recipe is one of my all-time favorites when I am entertaining. It can be baked immediately, or made up to a day ahead, kept in the fridge, and popped into the oven to bake right at the moment when you need it. It is an absolute show stopper of a dessert. As beautiful as it looks when plated, it is even more incredible when you cut into it to release the molten chocolate and take the first bite. Read more.

Looks like I found dessert for Christmas dinner! I think I'm going to go with a straight raspberry coulis. Over/under on Buddy being the one to lick the plate?

Katie! You will love them! Go ahead and use all raspberries, they turn out great. I would just not use all strawberries...too sweet and gets more foamy than saucy when blended. This recipe serves 12, by the way - 8 ounce portions. As far as Buddy goes - I think the more interesting wager would be whether or not he licks both sides of the plate! ;)

Wine is the ultimate social beverage, best enjoyed with others and even better with the addition of food. This blog is dedicated to bringing the two together in a way that is helpful and hopefully entertaining.
